Movie and TV words for the imposter game
Plot twists, cliffhangers, binge-watching and red carpets. This list skips movie titles on purpose: it uses genres, stock characters and screen jargon, so nobody is out just because they missed a film. Every word includes the imposter hint.

How to play
- Pick a category and pass the phone: everyone sees the same secret word except the imposter (or two, with 6+ players).
- Take turns giving a one-word clue without giving the word away. The imposter bluffs using a vague hint.
- Discuss and vote in secret. Catch the imposter and the group wins; miss and the imposter wins.

FAQ
Why are there no movie titles on the list?
With titles, whoever watched the most films wins. With genres and concepts everyone can give clues and the imposter has a fair shot.
What movie words work best?
Words with many angles: spoiler, sequel, trailer, cliffhanger, dubbing. They allow very different clues without giving the word away.
